摘要：
单光子的操控不仅对量子物理的基础研究具有重要意义，而且在
量子信息
科学和技术中有着广泛的应用。近期的研究表明，不同波形的单光子具有不同的特性；与原子系统的相互作用具有不同的性质；某些波形的单光子用于
量子信息
处理具有一些较好的特性。本项目拟研究波形可控的单光子的产生、探测及其在量子保密通信中的应用。具体研究内容包括：（1）可控波形单光子的实验产生：把三维磁光阱系统改造成二维磁光阱系统，得到光学厚度可调的冷原子团，然后利用非同轴四波混频产生波形可调的单光子。（2）快速响应单光子探测器的实验研究，包括高速低噪声有源伺服电路的研制；超快门控脉冲发生器的研制；门控电流抑制技术的研究。（3）基于方波形单光子的量子密钥分发的实验研究。（4）配合实验研究，从理论上研究可控波形单光子与原子相互作用中的新特性及其在
量子信息
处理中可能的新应用。
